I’m not even want to talk about low resolution maps, with not enough magnification to read the street names on it. Even then I try to change the address it still shows the old location.

After two hour driving today, GPS still stayed fixed on the location I started my driving from. It just does not work! It is able to locate a given address, but unable to guide me throughout the trip. What I can’t get over, is the Magellan navigation system, which I supposedly should use by linking the app on my smart phone to Subaru Starlink service. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, or just limited my use to its more important features. In contrary, 2018 is loaded with a lot of unnecessary gadgets, with touch screen panel which is not easy to navigate while driving, especially when it glairs so much (sometime all I can see is just a fingerprints on shiny glass panel). Most importantly it has simple dashboard panel with everything driver could possibly need (except GPS) for comfort drive without taking his attention from the road. Well designed, not small and not too big, powerful mid class car. Truth to be told, I loved my 2007 very much and if I had an option to choose between new, I’ll definitely go with 2007. Just switched from Forester 2007 to 2018 a week ago, and this is the third Forester I own in last 16 years. Although I have “My Subaru” account for last 14th years, I never been member of the forum before.
